Hi there! I’m Jaden, and I’m a graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in anthropology. I found myself drawn to anthropology after realizing that I had a strong understanding of how certain decisions made by a developer, producer, or creator can influence an audience; that’s why I dedicated my academic career to studying how virtual spaces, like video game player-bases and online communities on social media, interact with decisions made by developers or producers.

Through my work, I seek to perform academic research and explore how anthropology interacts with engaging media like film, television, and gaming. Whether I’m analyzing the retention and dedication of massive multiplayer gaming communities or exploring how developer choices can influence the culture of their audience, I want to show people not just the “how” with online interactions, but the “why”.
